Here’s the very first design concept for the homepage of Antidisinformation. This is the start of the use of the paint-stroke mark (to bluntly symbolise creativity, I thought). The logo is set in Trajan, and uses the same colour palette I’m using today:
Let’s be honest, it’s pretty shit and, as you can tell by how unfinished it is, I figured this out pretty early. The next one is pretty poor also, but marks the move to Gill Sans for the logo:
For the third, I tried to experiment with some digital art that showed red, green and blue chaos being pushed away by the Antidisinformation logo. This was to communicate my focus on simple and effective work:
All of these were poor work, but the move to Gill Sans for the logo and the paint-stroke mark held for quite a while.
Next time I’ll show even earlier work (from February 2005!) showing mockups of an article page.
